Electric Scooter Legal Statement
By purchasing, possessing or using Altfishbike electric scooters, you agree to comply with all applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations and ordinances. Our scooters are UL 2272 and FCC certified, meeting U.S. safety standards, but it is your sole responsibility to ensure legal use in your jurisdiction.
Riders must meet the minimum age requirement of 16 years old (18 years old in some regions) and follow local helmet laws—helmet is mandatory for riders under 18 years old and recommended for all adult riders. The maximum legal speed limit is 15-20 mph on streets and 7 mph on sidewalks (where allowed). Riders must use bike lanes and avoid sidewalks in most cities. We are not liable for any accidents, injuries or damages caused by misuse, illegal riding, failure to follow safety instructions or non-compliance with local laws.
Modifying the scooter without authorization is prohibited and will void all warranties. This statement shall be governed by applicable laws, and any disputes shall be resolved individually in accordance with relevant regulations.
